Message	covers. I think he's talkig aout the VTC solenoids located on the intake sides of the valve covers. Det sensor requires more than just pullig the top plenum. It requires you to pull the lower plenum, your fuel rails, timing belt, back cover, etc. lots of work. If i were you, i'd just bypass it for now until the right time to do it.
